POWERING UP MEDITATION - WHAT IS SITTING IN THE POWER & HOW CAN I DO IT? SEE GUIDENCE VIDEOS BY JASON GOLDSWORTHY
- Active Meditation
involves the purposeful engagement (or movement) of our entire mind
and body. This can include: a specific focus, walking or chanting. whereas,
- Passive Meditation incorporates attaining a quiet still focus centering on: the breath, a mantra, or other single object. "In general, it involves focusing the mind to train attention and awareness, often leading to relaxation and stress reduction" [1]
- Put our materialist thoughts to one side, and
- Raise our vibration to a superconscious level, and thus get closer to the higher vibration of spirit, by
- Feeling our own energy (as it flows at each moment in time). And then, once we have connected with our inner-self and bolstered our own energy, we will be in a position to optimise our spiritual energy and work with spirit [1]. We can help to generate this scenario by
- Imagining our inner light shining from our solar plexus and then expanding (like a bursting star) thus radiating every part of our physical body and our aura. After which,
- We should visualize drawing energy in the form of a white/golden light from the universe - and as this light surrounds us, we should imagine it permeating and blending with both our aura and physical being. So to that end, this scenario makes us one with all that is
IN A NUTSHELL
Passive Meditation (which is also referred to as inactive or non-directive meditation), entails the participant either sitting or lying down in a quiet spot where they allow their thoughts to effortlessly enter and leave their mind without judgment. The focus of passive meditation is to empower the participant to relax their nervous system, and become still and relaxed. This process should help the exponent boost their self-awareness, improve their emotional health, help them contend with anxiety and stress, and more.
This aforementioned form of meditation is in stark contrast to sitting in the power (powering up meditation). During the latter, the participant focuses on their own inner spiritual light to raise their vibration. - This forms a bridge which activates a connection and oneness with a higher form of energy (higher consciousness, source/the universe, the spirit world, and other light beings). So in a nutshell, this process facilitates a specific task, such as linking up to a specific spirit guide for the purpose of receiving guidance.
- Still our mind
- Rev up our spiritual ability and successfully link up and blend with our spirit guides and other spirit people/entities
- Improve our chi (energy flow) and thus feel more uplifted and vibrant, and
- Restore and recharge our inner batteries for greater well-being
- Bring about self- healing
- Empower our confidence [1]
