As a Spiritual Life Coach, Psychic Medium, Holistic Health Guru and Meditation Teacher, hardly a day goes by when I am not either helping someone with, or hearing about how difficult it can be to clear our minds. Prolonged and intense internal chatter along with thoughts of past and future events, seem to be powered by some kind of everlasting Duracell batteries. - So to that end, we have to learn practical ways to disengage and find our own space in which we can just 'Be'.
A few days ago, when I was sitting in a small online circle headed by the well-known medium, Dorothy Young, at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain, one of the mediums in the circle said they saw a spirit man standing behind me (in my living room), and putting his hands above my shoulders. She described the man, and said that she was given the name of the world renowned British-American Spiritual Philosopher, Inspirational Speaker, Teacher, and Author, Alan Watts (1915 to 1973). Alan's perspective on self-understanding, and all that is, encompassed: "ecology, contemporary explorations in mysticism, and the classic ways of liberation practiced in Asia, including Zen, Taoism, Hinduism and Buddhism at large" [1]. (Note: I am adding this sentence sometime after this event: Alan is in touch with me every day, and has become my main Spirit Guide; he has also revealed himself next to me via other mediums, and his face has shown up in my aura and ectoplasm.
So in light of the aforementioned, and also being told that Alan Watts was coming to join me in what I do, I am starting off on this very unexpected and magnificent new pathway, by posting this YouTube short entitled: "Alan Watts Practice Non-Thinking" (which is an excerpt from Silent Mind, Eastern Wisdom & Modern Life), courtesy of Official Alan Watts Org
