WATCH ALAN WATTS, MY FANTASTIC SPIRIT GUIDE, TALKING ABOUT THE ILLUSION OF REALITY

"The yin-yang view of the world is serenely cyclic. Fortune and misfortune, life and death, whether on small scale or vast, come and go everlastingly without beginning or end..."

Alan Watts, Tao: The Watercourse Way

Taoist Concepts That Align With Hermetic Principle No 4

Hermeticism can be described as an ancient philosophical spiritual tradition and a pathway towards spiritual growth. According to this school of thought, the universe is governed by seven principles. The fourth Hermetic principle, which is derived from traditional Western Hermeticism, teaches us that everything has its pair of opposites.

Alan Watts approaches this same concept as yin-yang polarity, which is rooted in Eastern philosophy (Taoism, Zen), as opposed to traditional Western Hermeticism. Yet whatever the approach, if we can be mindful of how this incredible system of opposites (that impact literally everything in existence, operates) - then we can make fundamental changes to our lives.

Note: The ying-yan construct came about in China in the 14th century BC. Conversely, the Hermetic Principle No. 4 (Polarity), a main tenet of Hermeticism, surfaced in Hellenistic Egypt, around 200 BC – 300 AD.

Alan Watts (1915 - 1973), is my main spirit guide (I am a psychic spiritualist medium). He had a wonderful and unique way of interweaving science and spirituality. - And in the two videos below (one is from Alan, and one is from Intro Books Education), you can easily understand how polarity influences our lives, Mother Earth, and the universe at large. - This phenomenon spans from minute atoms to overwhelming emotions. - So to that end, we can learn how to steer our way through these polarities, and thus find the balance, wisdom, peace, happiness, and fun that will transform our lives...
